At CCH New Zealand Limited we are committed to protecting your privacy.

What private information do we collect?
The Privacy Act 1993 provides rules to protect the misuse of information about identifiable individuals, ie, individual human beings. If you register as a member to leave comments on the TalkTax Website, you will need to provide your name and email address, your name will appear next to any comments but your email address will not display. If you wish to become an approved author you will need to provide your name and email address, you may also wish to provide additional contact information such as telephone number, website details and a short biography. As an author these details will be displayed on the TalkTax website.

What do we do with the information we collect?
All the information we collect, whether from individuals or organisations, is securely stored in our computer system. CCH New Zealand Limited is the sole owner of this information. On occasion, we will notify you of an important functionality change to the Website, or new CCH services or special offers we think you might find valuable. If you agree (we will give you the opportunity to opt out before we ask for the information), information may be used to forward offers to you from other organisations from whom we feel you may be interested in hearing. We do not disclose your details to any other organisation during this process. Above all, our aim is to make your dealings with us as convenient, secure and valuable to you as possible.

What information does CCH disclose to outside parties?
Currently CCH does not provide any information about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to third-party vendors. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, store and use.
